Paisley Detective Mystery Walking Trail
Paisley Detective Mystery Walking Trail
Service Description
Sunday 2nd March 2025, 12 noon to 2.30pm (approximately) Meeting point - Paisley Cenotaph at 12 noon Pay what you can on the day. Walk will last about 2 to 2.5 hours but we can stop off for a tea/coffee break on the way. Does involve walking up School Wynd which is a little bit hilly and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Join me (Rachael) as we follow a set of clues on a walking trail that will take us across Paisley in the search for a murderer! We’ll get our first clue on Gilmour Street then set off around the town to various historic buildings and landmarks to help us eliminate suspects and possible murder weapons until we work out who the murderer is. Ivor Loom meets his doom! Paisley weaver Ivor Loom was yesterday found laid out lifeless in his mill. Local police suspect foul play as it was rumoured that Ivor was about to broker a deal with a major manufacturer. Up until now, this company had been supplied by one of Ivor’s main rivals who thought they had the whole area stitched up. Chief Inspector Laura Norder has drawn up a short list of suspects who work for this rival company and now needs some top detectives (us!) to work this case. Can we follow the trail and solve the clues around Paisley to find out who did away with poor Ivor and what evidence links them to this crime? I’ll bring the pack which includes clue sheets (which tell us where to go), a list of suspects and a list of possible weapons, you bring pens and your inquisitive minds! Any questions, please let me know. Thank you Rachael
